Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are widely used in electronic equipment, especially in power supply, converter and household appliances. An important component of aluminum electrolytic capacitor is the anode. The anode material of aluminum electrolytic capacitor is made of pure aluminum foil. The tannin electrolyte is filled in the aluminum foil and transformed into a porous oxide film after the special low temperature anodized on the anode. A capacitor is formed in the shape of an oxide film and metal material. This oxide film can increase electric capacity of capacitor greatly, as electric conduction through the oxide film needs longer time and thus increases the passing electric current, thus increasing dielectric effect.

TVX1V331MCD is one of the most popular aluminum electrolytic capacitors on the market today. The PP film acts as the cathode, and, in between the electrodes, there is an electrolytic solution.

The TVX1V331MCD working principle is based on a process called electrolysis.
