?The UCC25701DTR is a high voltage, constant-frequency, hysteretic-mode, offline primary-side regulated (PSR) switch-mode power supply (SMPS) controller. It is designed to provide a low component count solution to meet the most common requirements of offline flyback and forward converter applications. The UCC25701DTR is optimized for LED lighting applications, but is also suitable for general purpose offline SMPS. This device is used in applications ranging from 5 V to 375 V for AC to DC solutions.
The UCC25701DTR features an adaptive control system that continuously optimizes for the best tradeoff between efficiency and line regulation. It does this by controlling the on-time of the power MOSFET based on the voltage sense of the primary winding of the power transformer. The UCC25701DTR is also equipped with an overvoltage protection circuit that will turn off the power MOSFET once the sensed voltage exceeds the reference voltage, as well as a light-load-mode to ensure minimal standby current.

The UCC25701DTR combines with an Opto-Coupler and a Drive Transistor in the Feedback Loop to control the power MOSFET.
