UCC28730EVM-552 is an evaluation board designed by Texas Instruments. It is an off-line switch mode power supply (SMPS) based on DC/DC and AC/DC power components which conforms to the latest energy efficiency requirements.

The UCC28730EVM-552 has been designed to demonstrate the performance capabilities of the UCC28730 High Performance and Integrated Power Supply Controller. It is an integrated single-stage flyback controller that is switched by the UCC28730 from a universal AC input supply. The device utilizes a leading edge digital dimming algorithm that has been optimized for maximum efficiency and power savings when dimmed.

The UCC28730EVM-552 provides high-performance dimming with current/voltage feedback capability, allowing accurate control of both light and energy levels.
