Diodes - Rectifiers - Single

UF4004 is an ultimate single-phased rectifier diode, capable of a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 400 volts. It is frequently used for general working of power supplies, as well as in various electronic circuit applications with a wide range of current rates, up to 1.5 amps. With its maximally low dynamic resistance, UF4004 provides low forward voltage drop, which makes it an efficient rectifier device. Because the diodes are continuously switched and turned on through the full wave bridge, the anode and cathode terminals constantly alter their polarities. Hence, a pulsating, smooth DC waveform is obtained at the output.
