Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, or simply electrolytic capacitors, are polarized capacitors with an anode made of pure aluminium foil, the oxide layer on its surface acting as the dielectric medium with a cathode of non-metallic materials. Due to lack of space and processing power, many electronic devices are unable to effectively integrate both large conventional capacitors and intricate control systems. A UKL2A2R2MDD (High Sulfide Conversion Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors) is used as an alternate form of capacitor to provide increased operation efficiency and reliability over a wide temperature range.

UKL2A2R2MDD caps feature the addition of a built-in protective metal casing which allows them to better withstand the harsh operating environment. The metal casing provides additional shielding and superior mechanical properties, which greatly improve reliability. Additionally, the capacitor’s anode material is a unique high-sulfide conversion (HSC) aluminum foil which is much more durable than the regular aluminum foil used in traditional electrolytic capacitors. The working principle of UKL2A2R2MDD electrolytic capacitors is based on the electrochemical principle.
