Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of electrolytic capacitor, which uses aluminum foil as the anode electrode of the device and an aluminum oxide film layer as the dielectric layer. USF1A470MDD1TP series is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which applies an etched foil, shallow impregnation technology for a better electro-chemistrical performance. An aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of two aluminum foils with an oxide layer in between which acts as dielectric to store electric charge. The anode electrode of the device is made of pure aluminum which is chemically treated to form an insulating layer of aluminum oxide. The cathode of the device is made of manganese dioxide and electrolyte-soaked paper, insulated from each other by the aluminum oxide layer. USF1A470MDD1TP is a miniaturized aluminum electrolytic capacitor with an extended operating temperature range up to 105℃. It features a wide range of ESR parameters and is widely used in EMI filters, power supplies, voltage regulators, lightning protectors, switching, etc. It is an ideal resource for crowded and high density printed circuit boards (PCB) and comes with a maximum permissible ripple current.The working principle of USF1A470MDD1TP aluminum electrolytic capacitor lies in its ability to rapidly store and discharge electrical energy by way of polarized electrolytic capacitance. When a potential difference is applied between the two terminals, a charge accumulates on the anode and the oxide layer is polarized, accumulating more positive charges on one side and more negative charges on the other side. This polarization of the oxide layer causes electrical charge to be stored on both sides of the capacitor. The electric charge is then discharged when the applied potential difference between the electrodes is reversed. This causes a current to flow between the electrodes, allowing the electrons to flow across the oxide layer, thus freeing up a proportion of the stored energy.Overall, USF1A470MDD1TP aluminum electrolytic capacitors provide an efficient and economical way to realize the highest energy-density possible in a particular component.
