Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are usually made up of three separate parts - a spiral-wound or etched metal foil, an electrolyte and an aluminum foil. The construction of the electrolytic capacitor consists of two metal layers, or foils, that are separated by an insulating dielectric film.
