Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also known as aluminum electrolytic capacitors, are polarized capacitors composed of two electrodes immersed in an electrolyte. Usually, the positive electrode is made of aluminum foil, the negative electrode is an oxide film formed on the surface of the aluminum foil, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of an inorganic acid or an organic acid. The positive and negative poles of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor are called the anode and the cathode, respectively. Among the five classic electrolytic capacitors, aluminum electrolytic capacitors have the smallest volume and light weight, but the highest heat resistance and energy density.

In general, USR1V330MDD1TE capacitors are first made out of two aluminum foils and a separator. A positive foil and a negative foil are etched and formed into very thin sheets. These sheets are then rolled into a cylindrical form and then immersed in an electrolyte solution. This solution forms a very thin oxide layer on the negative foil which serves as the dielectric material. Then, the two foils will be rolled together creating a capacitor.
