Working Principle

The basic working principle of the UUX1J330MNL1GS aluminum electrolytic capacitor is based on the Faraday principle of electrolysis. The capacitor is essentially made up of two opposite rollers and an electrolyte filling the surrounding space separating them. The roller connected to the positive pole of the capacitor is made up of pure aluminum, while the roller connected to the negative pole is made of a solid electrolyte. When voltage is applied, the negative roller passes a small part of the current to its surface, so that a layer of a conductive oxide film can be formed. As a result, a potential barrier is formed between the two rollers.

When the capacitor is in an open circuit, electrons move from the negative roller through the oxide layer to the aluminum layer, and the charge stored on the capacitor is also discharged from the aluminum layer to the ceramic layer. The difference in potential between the two layers is called the capacitance voltage. This voltage is determined by the capacitance of the capacitor, and it is determined by the size of the oxide layer and the conductive material of the electrode.
