The UVR1A102MPD is a general capacitor that offers sealing protection, long life and high temperatures prolong life cycles on all areas where insulation-sealed circuits or space-saving circuits are required, especially in space saving printed circuit boards. Moreover, they are mainly used in switch mode power supply, power supply circuits, telecommunication, computer board, charger, electronic circuits and household appliance.
UVR1A102MPD Working Principle
The UVR1A102MPD Dipped Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor is rust and heat-resistant, highly reliable and has low electrical leakage. It consists of a sealed core and an electrolytic solution, usually a light oxide of aluminum, which provides the primary electrical connection between two metal plates.
The two metal plates are usually made from aluminum or a combination of aluminum and titanium and coated with different types of dielectric film. In UVR1A102MPD, the two metal plates are dielectrically separated by a film of insoluble gold or silver+silver calcium alloys, along with the aluminum oxide. When the capacitor is in operation, the film of oxide provides the electrical insulation between the two metal plates.
In operation, the small amount of current flows between the two metal plates and the electrolyte, completing the electrical circuit. This current flow produces a voltage across the capacitor plates, thus forming an electric field and stores energy.
