Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) include Varistors, Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) and other components that are used to protect circuits by clamping transient voltages to a specified level. Working principle:
When a VDRS05C075BSE MOV is connected in parallel with a circuit, it will act as an open switch until the voltage in the circuit exceeds the clamping voltage of the MOV.
