VEML6075-SB is a 6x6-mm far-infrared 2-way digital ambient light sensor integrated into Analog Devices Inc. The VEML6075-SB is a high-performance, low-power, two-way (left and right) digital ambient light sensor with an integrated Level-Shift. It has the ability to measure visible and near-infrared light and convert it to digital signals for further processing. This device has a calibrated on-board memory, which stores the relevant data for fast, accurate, and repeatable readings and helps in extending the battery life of an application.
The VEML6075-SB is an ideal choice for applications such as display backlighting control, ambient light sensing, directional lighting, facial recognition, gesture control, and occupancy/proximity detection.
