The VO4158H-X017T is a popular optoisolator used in various applications. It has two parts, an opaque Triac-SCR (Triode for Alternating Current Silicon Controlled Rectifier) and a light-dependent resistor (LDR). The two parts of this optoisolator work together to isolate one circuit from another and provide very high isolation between input and output signals, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in which signal isolation is required.
The most common application field for the VO4158H-X017T is in industrial and consumer electronics. The working principle of the VO4158H-X017T is based on the behavior of light intensity in the presence of an opaque wall. This provides very high isolation between input and output signals. The optoisolator also features a very low operating voltage range of 0 to 70V, which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
