The X5163P-4.5A can detect a power up reset condition when the supply voltage rises above the threshold point. It will also detect a power down reset condition when the supply voltage drops below the threshold point. This supervisor has a wide input voltage range: 4.5V~22V, and a maximum output current of 10mA. It also has an adjustable reset thresholds which range from 3.2 V to 4.8V.

X5163P-4.5A has two working modes: open-drain pull up output mode and CMOS pull up output mode. In the open-drain pull up output mode, the RESET# pin will be pulled high by an external resistor. This resistor also serves as the power on reset threshold.
