The XC18V02VQG44C is a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Configuration PROM (Programmable Read-Only Memory), and is part of Xilinx family of FPGA configuration PROMs. XC18V02VQG44C consists of two types of memory cells: a Nonvolatile Configuration Memory as well as Nonvolatile Control Memory, both combined into a single package to provide high performance and reliable, cost-effective FPGA solutions.
The XC18V02VQG44C is designed to configure Xilinx Virtex FPGA’s, Spartan family of FPGA’s, and their derivatives. It is an intelligent device, where the bit stream is automatically routed to the targeted device via JTAG interface, but can also be programmed using a Wide Range of advanced static logic analysis tools.
