XC6SLX45-2FG484C is a field programmable gate array (FPGA) device developed by Xilinx Corporation. It is an embedded FPGA with preloaded configurable logic blocks (CLBs) and RAM blocks. This device is suitable for low-end application of embedded systems, such as industrial control, motor control, robotics, military and so on.

The XC6SLX45-2FG484C device integrated on-chip RAM blocks, clock management and signal integrity tiles, specialized DSP blocks and multiple Input/Output blocks. The on-chip RAM blocks provide 6Mb of memory storage for embedded systems with improved data processing performance. Moreover, the clock management and signal integrity tiles help reduce EMI/EMC issues, which is essential for industrial settings. The specialized DSP blocks provide options to implement signal processing algorithms in hard-wired logic, and the multiple Input/Output blocks provide a means of connecting external peripherals to the FPGA.

When power is applied to XC6SLX45-2FG484C device, its on-chip FPGA core will begin to configure itself according to the settings stored within its non-volatile memory.
