The XR79120EVB Evaluation Board is a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply) that can help to meet the needs of today\'s power development and design challenges. The XR79120EVB has been designed to support a wide range of voltage regulation and power conversion requirements. The evaluation board is equipped with an efficient power supply system with a wide evaluation range and offers many features that can help to reduce the complexity of power design applications.

The XR79120EVB is for applications requiring high current. It is well suited for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications and DC to DC conversion for automotive, industrial, communications, and consumer markets. The XR79120EVB features a wide range input voltage of 5.5V to 32V as well as an output voltage of 9V to 18V with a maximum output power of 120W. The board is equipped with on-board measurements, over-voltage protection for Vout, output short-circuit protection, and cycle-by-cycle over current protection.
