The TPS51103EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is an evaluation board for the TPS51103 Fairchild Single-Cell Li-Ion / Li-Pol Battery Switching Regulator. It is a linear voltage regulator for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Pol battery applications that allows the very efficient operation of the system across a wide current range. With this board, the user has the ability to program the output voltage, as well as the input and output current limits to suit their particular application. The TPS51103EVM supports a wide input voltage range of 12V to 25V, and has programmable output voltages of 1.8V to 11V that can be adjusted to optimize the application’s efficiency. It also has a programmable switching frequency of 200kHz to 500kHz, which can be adjusted to reduce the power losses in the system.
Given its wide range of features and adjustable settings, the TPS51103EVM is useful in a wide range of applications.
