SDUR3060PT Application Field and Working Principle
The SDUR3060PT is a rectifier array which is made up of six independent typse Silicon Diode rectifier blocks. It is carefully designed for 35A rated, 1000V blocking voltage and common cathode configuration. It is designed to provide cost effective and high performance in a variety of applications and systems such as offline, line interactive, and online rotary broadcast, uninterruptible power supply, snubber circuits, and active harmonics filters, etc. The SDUR3060PT is suitable for commercial level and industrial level, and it meets UL, IEC, and VDE safety standards.
The working principle of the SDUR3060PT is based on the diode rectifier blocks. In a rectifier block, these diodes allow the current to only flow in one direction, forming an AC-DC conversion path. By using several independent rectifier blocks referred to as “arrays”, it can turn an alternating power input into direct power output with improved performance and higher efficiency. Its low drops are achieved with low forward voltage and low junction capacitance, while its blocking capability is achieved with a reverse-recovery Charge Balancing Technology. It also features an improved diode rectifier structure, an improved reverse bias temperature stability, and a high reliability rating as well. Further, its improved surge-withstanding capability helps to avoid damaging circuits normally found with high-current applications.
SDUR3060PT is also designed to be flexible and provide multiple configurations. Its 2000V line-to-line voltage rating and 35A rating enable it to meet the requirements for various applications. Its three Option “A”, “B”, and “C” can provide different diode current ratings for different topologies. Option “A” offers high junction-to-ambient thermal resistance for efficient heat dissipation, Option “B” offers a low junction-to-ambient thermal resistance, and Option “C” offers higher peak-blocking capabilities.
