The management and support functions of the IntelG41 chipset motherboard are as follows.
①The Intel G41 motherboard supports Intel dual-core CPU using a 775-pin CPU.
②CPU connects the GMCH chip via the FSB front-end bus, and the FSB bus supports three specifications of CPU.: 800MHz, 1066MHz, and 1333MHz
③ G41 North Bridge chip internal integrated graphics card for direct output of VGA. DVI video signal. At the same time, the North Bridge chip also manages PCL-EX16 independent graphics card, manages 4 DDR2 memory, well and supports dual channels.
④The North Bridge chip (GMCH) is connected by the DMI bus to the South Bridge Chip (ICH7). The South Bridge chip controls some low-speed devices, such as IDE hard disk interface, SATA serial hard disk interface, USB interface, sound card chip, network card chip, PCI slot, PCLEXI slot.
⑤The South Bridge chip connects an 8-pin BIOS chip via the SPI bus, and also manages 10 chips and TPM encryption modules through the LPC bus.
⑥ IO is an Input/Output controller that controls external interfaces such as keyboard, mouse, serial port, parallel port, floppy drive, fan and temperature detection.
