Vishay Introduces New Automotive Grade IHLP High Current Inductor with a Height of Only 7.0mm
The new 6767 form factor is AEC-Q200 certified and is only 7.0mm high.
This article describes the new 6767 form factor is AEC-Q200 certified and is only 7.0mm high.
Vishayc introduces a new automotive grade IHLP® thin, high current 6767 form factor inductor. The Vishay DaleIHLP 6767GZ 8A inductor operates continuously at +180 ° C and is only 7.0 mm high, saving space in the car's engine compartment.
The devices released today are AEC-Q200 compliant and can be used for DC/DC converters with energy storage up to 2MHz. At the same time, the inductor has excellent noise attenuation performance in high current filtering applications in the self-resonant frequency range. The device operates at high temperatures for filtering and DC/DC conversion, including engine and transmission control units, fuel injection drives, other engine compartment applications, as well as motor noise suppression, wipers, power mirrors and seats, HID And LED lighting, heating fans, etc.
The high-efficiency IHLP-6767GZ-8A typical DCR ranges from 0.89mΩ to 52.7mΩ with inductance values from 0.47μH to 47.0μH. The device is rated for currents up to 76.0A and can handle high transient current spikes without saturation.
The inductor package features a 100% lead-free (Pb) shielded composite structure that reduces noise to extremely low levels and is extremely resistant to thermal shock, humidity and mechanical vibration. The IHLP-6767GZ-8A is RoHS and Vishay green and halogen free.
