Maintenance method for memory power supply failure.

The repair steps for the memory power failure are as follows.

1. Visually test if the power supply circuit is burned, dropped, capacitor is bulging, leakage. If the above phenomenon is found, replace the damaged components first.

 

2. Measure if the memory power supply is short-circuited to the ground and if the MOS tube is damaged. If the ground value of memory power supply is not 0, the short circuit of memory power supply can not be judged, and the short circuit of memory power supply can only be determined by 0.

 

3. Measure the VCC and BOOT pin voltages not less than 5V according to the Pin definition of the power supply control chip, and check the outside resistor, diode, or capacitor of the pin improperly.

 

4. Measures whether the EN pin of the chip is high. The common RT9202 chip EN pin voltage is more than 3V, other chips EN pin voltage is more than 0.4V. The EN pin voltage is low, check the control signals SLP_S4#, SLP_S5# signals, and replace the transistor and control chip in the on-off signal conversion circuit.

 

5. Working conditions VCC, BOOT, EN have not found a problem after normal, can only replace the control chip, output MOS tube and filter capacitor.
