Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are one of the most popular form of electrical component because of their relatively low cost and broad range of capacitor choices and sizes. The 108TTA100M is a type of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor which is characterized by its high reliability and long product life, making it suitable for high-reliability, long product life applications.

The 108TTA100M’s internal construction consists of a rigid aluminum-tin-oxide foil optimized to minimize electrical leakage, and a chemical electrolyte which keeps the internal pressure at a suitable level. The 108TTA100M is most commonly available in an axial form, where the two electrical terminals come out of opposite ends of the capacitor. However, it is also available in a radial form where the two electrical terminals come out of opposing sides of the capacitor.
