The working principle of 157SVH050MGE relies on the electric field formed between the two metal plates in the capacitor, with the electrolyte, an ion conductive solution, in between the two metal plates. When an electric potential is applied between the two metal plates, ions from the electrolyte solution in the capacitor are attracted to the negatively charged plate and are repelled from the positively charged plate. This causes the accumulation of positive ions at the negative plate and negative ions at the positive plate, which forms an electric field between the two plates.
