Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are electronic components with a dielectric energy storage medium composed of double layers of aluminum oxide film on the surface of electrolytic aluminum foil. The working principle of the 16ML150MEFCT78X7 is based on the electrostatic charge storage principle. It consists of two aluminum films separated by a fine insulating oxide film, along with a liquid or gel-like electrolyte, with the positive plus side and negative minus side; when an electric field exists, polarized charges build up and the capacitor gains the ability to store energy. The amount of energy stored depends on the capacitance of the capacitor. Because of the properties of electrolyte, high capacitance can be made at a small size.
