3.0SMCJ90CATR is designed to varistor-like clamping action for positive or negative, transient overvoltage protection of power or signal lines. With a tight clamping voltage of 6.0 ~ 9.0V, it is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics on high speed data lines from possible damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), inductive load switching, and other transient events.
