Working Principle

The working principle of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is simple. The oxide film has the property of dielectric constant, which produces an electric field when voltage applied to it. Thus, the current flow through the oxide film, causing charge accumulation on the capacitor\'s plates. The thickness of oxide film determines the capacitance of the capacitor.

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are basically divided into two types: radial and axial capacitors.
