7006G13 is a microcontroller module used by many different industries for various tasks such as machine control, robotics, and process automation. The 7006G13 comes in two packages: The Standard version of the 7006G13 includes an 8-bit microcontroller, 32KB of RAM and 1MB of Flash. It offers a rich set of I/O including 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The Advanced version adds the more powerful 32-bit ARM processor, 64KB of RAM and 2MB of Flash. This increases the processor’s speed and performance, and provides more room for data storage and program development.
The 7006G13 is highly configurable, allowing it to adapt to its application field. A feature called Flexible Clock Configuration (FCC) enables the processor core and the bus system clock to operate independently, thereby allowing the core to run at a higher frequency than the bus. This allows the core to perform data intensive operations at high speeds while the bus continues to fetch instructions from non-processor peripherals at a lower frequency.
