Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) are used in numerous applications ranging from industrial, scientific and research fields. The AD7770ACPZ-RL is one of the Analog-to-Digital converters (ADC) used in many applications and it is manufactured by Analog Devices. This chip is intended for use within the following realms: industrial automation, communications, audio, and sound systems, transportation, medical applications, and networking. AD7770ACPZ-RL integrates amplifier, auto-zero amplifier, and track and hold circuitry into a single chip in order to offer high speed and high accuracy performance for these applications.
This chip is an integrated 16-bit sigma-delta AD converter that features a sample rate of 32ksps (Kilo samples per second) and has an on-chip RC oscillator and track and hold amplifier for the system design. It offers a true differential input and differential current output. It is capable of up to 22kHz wide bandwidth operation and features single-supply operation from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply. The power consumption is typically 8.5mW and the chip is available in SOIC and QFN package. The temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. The chip supports two modes: buffered/unbuffered and single-/two-channel operation which can be controlled through the SPI/I2C interface with four-wire protocol.
