The ADF4001BRUZ is a high performance silicon-based frequency synthesizer and voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO). This family of devices is designed to provide flexible,low-power solutions for wireless and broadband communications systems. The ADF4001BRUZ has two independent phase-noise-optimized VCOs. Each VCO is able to generate signals up to 4.25 GHz, and has its own independent output stage and power supplies. The ADF4001BRUZ can be programmed to synthesize any frequency between 20 MHz and 4.25 GHz while maintaining minimum phase noise and low power consumption.The ADF4001BRUZ is a general purpose frequency synthesizer and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for applications including IEEE 802.11b wireless systems, IEEE 802.16 broadband wireless systems, satellite systems, cellular systems, and RF communications. It can also be used for other high frequency applications such as test and measurement, navigation, and more.The ADF4001BRUZ is a monolithic frequency synthesizer and voltage-controlled oscillator integrated in a 7mm x 5mm ultra-compact QFN package. Its core consists of two independent phase-noise-optimized voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs). It offers a low-noise amplifier (LNA), wideband baluns, a dual modulator, and a low-pass filter (LPF).It offers programmable frequency resolution of up to 25kHz, low phase noise, programmable reference frequency, low power consumption, fast frequency switching, and is suitable for broadband communications.
