ADF4113BRU is a wideband, low-cost, low-phase noise, wide tuning range frequency synthesizer designed for cellular infrastructure applications. It has been designed to generate precise signals from 1.2 GHz to 2.7 GHz. The device supports quickfrequency hoppingand two-way communication, making it ideal for powering transceivers and modem designs.
The frequency synthesizer supports multiple sleep modes, enabling prolonged battery life and further decreases overall system costs. The device offers separate VCO supplies with external buffer, enabling concurrent bi-directional communication over a single VCO. The frequency synthesizer contains integrated output mixer, loop filter, and reference detector.
The ADF4113BRU device is architected to provide the optimal balance between low power consumption and superior performance. The device includes a digital loop filter with programmable bandwidth, allowing it to be optimized for different applications. In addition, the programmable loop filter can also be used to reduce the loop delay through an internal loop filter design.

Working principle
The ADF4113BRU device is a frequency synthesizer that enables precise control of carrier frequencies in an efficient, low-power manner. The frequency synthesizer consists of a phase-locked loop (PLL), loop filter and dividers. The PLL is a feedback circuit that compares the input reference frequency to the output frequency from the loop filter, and adjusts the VCO until the two frequencies match.
