The ADM00494 is an ultrahigh-precision, single-axis, angle sensor evaluation board. This evaluation board is designed to provide a platform for a customer or researcher to quickly and easily obtain data from a variety of angle sensors for purposes such as characterizing and debugging the sensor or evaluating a new design idea. It is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including aeronautics, industrial and laboratory testing, structural engineering, scientific instrumentation and robotics.

The ADM00494 Sensor Evaluation Board is equipped with a wide range of features to allow users to accurately measure angle, orientation and/or position. It consists of a main printed circuit board (PCB) and two mounting bases. The main PCB supports the 0.01° high precision angle sensor, allowing users to quickly and easily measure angles up to 360° with a resolution of 0.001°. Also included on the board is a linear Hall-effect and an optical rotary encoder for measuring angle and a 3-axis accelerometer for measuring acceleration.

The two mounting bases for the Main PCB are designed to simplify the process of assembling and disassembling the board for ease of use. Additionally, the boards can be mounted on a variety of surfaces using a variety of methods in order to facilitate easy integration into the user’s application. The ADM00494 board has an on-board power supply, which allows the user to power up the board from either a 9V battery or a 5V power supply with a USB cable.
