ADM6348-46ARTZ-R7, a PMIC - Supervisors device developed by Analog Devices, is a multi-channel DC/DC monitor and power-on/off reset controller that protects many system buses and power rails in personal computers, servers and communications equipment. This device automatically combines an adjustable overvoltage monitor with a wide-range voltage supervisor and an adjustable latching power-on reset circuit.
The ADM6348-46ARTZ-R7 is designed to be programmed to monitor supply voltages from 1.6V to 5.5V. It can monitor up to five supply voltages, where any voltage can be monitored for an overvoltage/undervoltage violation and/or for a power good condition. For each channel, the user can also program an output reset response time, or latch and reset or latch and ignore the violation. Set up is completed with a reliable external capacitor.
Other features of the ADM6348-46ARTZ-R7 includes allow internal programmable reset active-high or low output polarity, voltage level setting accuracy of plus or minus 10% over the full supply voltage range and a reset timeout period from 0.3 ms to 1500 ms after power-on.
