ADM6713LAKS-REEL7 Application Field and Working Principle
ADM6713LAKS-REEL7 is a package of supervisors, one of the most important types of PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuits). As the supervisor family of PMIC, it provides three basic functions, which are resetting voltage monitoring, reset releasing, and system monitoring. It adopts very different operation compared to common power management chips, and its application field is also quite different.
Firstly, ADM6713LAKS-REEL7 works as the core component of microcomputer and network system. It performs two main tasks in the power management, which are providing reset signal when the primary voltage drops below the predetermined value and reset releasing after the primary voltage coming back to the normal voltage range. It features a high performance circuit that rapidly detects and evaluates the changes of the primary voltage.
In addition to providing reset signaling and releasing to the microcomputer, ADM6713LAKS-REEL7 also provides system monitoring services.
