To begin working, ADM690AARMZ-REEL derives VDD from the system power supply. This power supply can be between 2.4V to 5.5V and is connected to the MR pin by a capacitor. Additionally, a capacitor must be connected between the MR pin and VDD in order to eliminate any initially present momentary glitch. By connecting a low resistance condenser between VDD and ground, ADM690AARMZ-REEL can achieve a slow decay time of oscillation.Additionally, AC coupling is used between the undervoltage input (UVLO) pin and the output pin (RST). The signal is compared with the resistive reference voltage.The internal capacitor in ADM690AARMZ-REEL is also key to its functionality. It helps to reduce the overshoot of the voltage. Within the ADM690AARMZ-REEL, there is a variable internal resistance, which helps to keep the capacitor charged. This ensures that the voltage is stable when the power is removed.Finally, the integrated Supervisor Watchdog Timer (SWT) in ADM690AARMZ-REEL allows the product to enter a system management mode. In this mode, the SWT will periodically reset the system when the processor fails to produce an output within a predetermined time period.
