ADP3050-BL1-EVZ board includes the ADP3050 step down DC-DC converter, a 4.7uH inductor, and a set of selectable input and output capacitors. Working principle
The ADP3050-BL1-EVZ contains the synchronous step down DC-DC converter as the core, which is an all-in-one IC for non-isolated DC-DC converters. The DC-DC converter features a high-side MOSFET and a low-side MOSFET for transient response and low input current. The integrated Slope Compensation circuit provides stable operation during moderate load transients for applications without an external compensation network of other compensation components.
To adjust the output voltage, an external resistor divider is used to set the output voltage. The output voltage is sensed across the output connection terminals and a voltage regulated feedback loop is then adjusted to the desired output voltage level. The output voltage will remain steady as long as the input voltage is sufficient for the output voltage.
