AN8006 is a linear voltage regulator, designed to provide precision power supply lines for a wide range of applications, including portable and mobile devices. It can provide protection against overload, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection for the output voltage.

The AN8006 is composed of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a power field effect transistor, a current limit circuit and thermal shutoff circuits.
