Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are a popular technology for quickly developing embedded systems, or embedded systems incorporating FPGA-like structures into an embedded environment. The APA750-FGG676 embedded FPGA is a highly reliable and versatile FPGA solution. It supports up to 1536 lut, 288mb RAM and over 65 thousand register blocks. This FPGA is particularly popular among designers due to its flexibility and relatively low power consumption. Its principal application fields include consumer electronics, industrial and automotive applications, digital signal processing and communications equipment.

The APA750-FGG676 is an Adaptive Logic Device ( ALD ) with a configurable logic block architecture consisting of a set of configurable blocks each containing from eight to thirty-eight input-output (I/0) cells. Cells can be pre-programmed and configured with readily available programming tools. This allows for exceptionally fast custom logic design. Additionally, the FPGA is equipped with a flash memory controller which enables rapid transfer of data from the main controller, such as for reprogramming the FPGA.

The working principle of APA750-FGG676 is based on a static field within the FPGA. This static field is responsible for translating the source code of the program into the PLDs\' hardware structure. It is an organized hardware architecture made up of multiple interconnected blocks of digital logic elements, like Programmable Logic Blocks, CPLDs, and Programmable Interconnects. The wiring of the logic elements determines the operations to be executed. Each logic block can have its own program, as set by the designer, through configuration and programming.
