Working Principle of AS1745G-T
The AS1745G-T is an integrated, analog switch with on/off control logic. The on/off control logic is provided by two control signals, ION and IOFF. The input signal is driven by two switchable inputs, xIN and yIN, to allow the switch to operate in either a uni-directional or bidirectional mode. The xIN and yIN inputs can accept differential signals of 0 to 10V level. The on/off control logic is enabled by a 0.8 to 3.5V voltage swing.
When the ION signal is high and the IOFF signal is low, the switch is activated and the xIN and yIN inputs are connected to the output. The OFF-state is determined by the output terminal resistance, which is set by selecting an appropriate external load resistor at the output terminal.
