The AS1752S-T is a high performance analog switch/multiplexer/demultiplexer that provides a low cost alternative to mechanical relays and other costly discrete components. The switch and multiplexer family provides up to 16 channels that can be independently switched, multiplexed and demultiplexed via a serial control signal. The switches can handle high voltages and wide bandwidth signals, such as Video/RF/Audio, USB, HDMI and other types of High Speed interfaces.

Working Principle

The AS1752S-T is a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) multiplexer with an extended frequency range and low on-resistance. With this type of device, engineers are able to provide flexibility to their designs and increased system performance due to the improved signal routing capabilities.
