Memory is a essential component of the computing system, AT24C01C-SSHM-B is a Non-volatile memory device applied in many industrial applications, it\'s widely used because it shows excellent performance in fast data writing, data protection and long-term relingabiltiy. AT24C01C-SSHM-B is a CMOS serial EEPROM device with an 8 Pin SOIC package, it has 1 Kbit capacity of memory space and makes program and data storage easily.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B can be used to store small amount of the data, it provide 8 bits of data organized in 16 byte page. The page size provides flexibility in writing data with minimal programming time. AT24C01C-SSHM-B provide a typical write cycle time of 10ms, it also offers protection features for write/erase operations, it will shut off the power/down the write cycle if it encounters an unexpected power failure.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B can be used in variety of industrial applications such as telecommunication, the data can be transferred to or from the device by 2 wire Bidirectional protocol, it can be connected to the micro-controller or other system through a simple serial interface. AT24C01C-SSHM-B provide an 8 bit address space and can accept upto 32Kbits/byte data transaction. The device provides additional features such as Hardware and Software restrictions to protect against unauthorized access.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B is designed for High temperature applications, it supports multiple supply voltage and low active current, the device can be operated from 1.5V to 5.5V and with the current consumption of 10uA at 5V operation and with the standby current of 5uA. It also features an humidity sensor and an automatic temperature compensation for better reliability in harsh temperature conditions.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B device working principle is based on the non-volatile storage and read/write cyclic operations, the data stored in the device can be retained even in the power down conditions, the device provides a 2-Wire serial interface that allows user to read and write data in the device. The device provides an internal write protection scheme which prevents the device from being unintentionally programmed.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B offers wide range of operating temperature range from -40C to +125C and with the non-volatile storage capacity it can be used in variety of applications such as automotive, industrial, consumer to store the data and information even in the harsh environment conditions. The device also supports various programming algorithms such as I2C, serial programming, Parallel programming and many more.

The data stored in the device can be permanently retained for a longer time using the EEPROM Data Retention, it can also selectively erase the data with their own Erase/Write cycles. Further more AT24C01C-SSHM-B also provides protections of the data against the ESD, EMI and RFI, it also contains locking mechanisms to prevent over-writing or erasing in the undesired location. The device also provides code-hosting facility that enables developers to host the code within their micro-controller with minimal changes and improve their performance.

AT24C01C-SSHM-B is an ideal Non-volatile memory device which can be used for many industrial applications, this device has been designed for working in harsh environment and offers high temperature, humidity and EMI/RFI immunity. It also provides Data Protection features and hardware/software restrictions for the user applications. This device is reliable and offers flexibility, extended life time and fast data programming.
