AT45DQ321-SHD-T is a 32M bit (4Mbytes) Serial Flash memory module from Microchip Inc. It features low power consumption and high-level security features for the embedded and industrial applications. It is a low-cost non-volatile memory solution with advanced control interface and an on-board controller.AT45DQ321-SHD-T can be used in a wide range of applications such as automotive, consumer, industrial, medical and telecoms. It is a low-cost, low-voltage and low-power solution providing high endurance and optimal performance. The memory module integrates an 8-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) controller with integrated charge pump, so that the operating voltage can be reduced to as low as 1.8V. Application Field:AT45DQ321-SHD-T is especially designed for use in embedded, industrial and automotive applications. The module can be used in a wide range of applications such as automotive, consumer, industrial, medical and telecoms. Working Principle:AT45DQ321-SHD-T works on the principle of Nonvolatile NOR Flash Memory technology. It uses a single power supply from 1.65V – 3.6V and has an integrated Charge Pump, which allows the operating voltage to be reduced down to 1.8V. It provides a comprehensive set of control signals, which allows for high-speed random access memory operations.The memory module has a 3X 4K byte internal SRAM buffer and a 32-bit CRC engine that calculates the cyclic redundancy check value of the data stream. This allows the user to check the integrity of the data and verify whether a particular data stream is accurate or not.The module also has a 24-bit address counter, so that the CPU can iterate through the memory locations without the need for an external address bus. The memory module can also be accessed with a serial port, and a host CPU can easily control the memory accesses with a simple serial interface.Overall, AT45DQ321-SHD-T is a low-cost, low-power, and low-voltage solution for embedded and industrial applications.
