Automotive power management ICs (PMICs) provide efficient and reliable power regulation, power conversion, thermal management, and intelligent system control for onboard automotive electronics. The ATA6823-PHQW is a high-performance automotive, three-phase dc-motor driver solution with integrated smart features suitable for low-power automotive applications and a fully-integrated full-bridge driver with a maximum output current of 3A. It is available in a quad flat-pack (QFP) or TQFP package.
ATA6823-PHQW is a integrated power management IC suitable for automotive motor drives, controllers, and systems. It has two separate motor drives and an onboard microcontroller for safety-critical system control applications. The ATA6823-PHQW can control two separate DC motors from a single polarity power supply. It has an integrated gate driver with Fault Flag Interrupt (FFI), over-temperature protection, and all-tracking ESD protection. The FFI provides a simple, low-power method for monitoring and controlling the motor’s speed and direction.
The ATA6823-PHQW is designed for low-power automotive applications and has a wide input voltage range of 8.5V to 28.8V. The device supports a wide range of step/direction input signals, PWM control and can be programmed to perform a variety of control functions.
