Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are widely used with different types to provide various capacitance and electrical protection in multiple applications. The B43044A1227M aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a member of these capacitors with advantages in terms of size, capacity and so on. It is designed for specific purposes and used to provide capacitance to circuits working within a temperature range from -40 to 85 Celsius degree.

B43044A1227M capacitor features provide very good electrical characteristics in real life applications. The rated capacity of this capacitor is 27μF with a voltage rating of 16VDC. It measures 17×15.5×6mm and has a temperature range of operating temperature from -40~+85℃. Its voltage rating is up to 105°C with a capacitance tolerance of ±20%. The ESR of this capacitor is 39Ω and it has a ripple current of 55mArms at an operating temperature of 85℃ and 125Hz frequency.

This aluminum electrolytic capacitor is primarily designed for use in power supply applications and automotive electronics such as voltage regulation, noise filtering and power supply smoothing. The large-capacity capacitors are also used in the filtering of power input and output in electronic equipment, such as switching power amplifiers, electric welding machines and uninterruptible power supplies. Because of its high vibration resistance, the B43044A1227M is also used in automotive systems such as brake devices, as well as for start and stop devices in vending machines and other electronic equipment.

B43044A1227M aluminum electrolytic capacitor utilizes the principle of electrolytic polarization. When the polarity of the capacitor electrodes is some defined direction, a large electric field will be generated and the ions of the electrolyte will be influenced by the electric field, forming a layer of surface charge on the surface of the dielectric film. This occurs when a positive charge collects on the negative electrode, while a negative charge collects on the positive electrode. As the voltage increases, the potential difference between the electrolyte and the surface of the dielectric film increases, which causes a larger surface charge to form, therefore the capacitance of the capacitor is larger than the static capacitance.

The insulation layer of B43044A1227M is made of an aluminum oxide film. This film has excellent properties such as high breakdown voltage, good insulation, heat resistance and so on, which makes B43044A1227M has a very wide application. In order to improve its performance and stability, a special anodic oxide coating is applied to the aluminum foil, which can help improve the insulation characteristics of the capacitor and reduce leakage current.

In addition, B43044A1227M also takes advantage of liquid electrolyte’s behavior in an electric field, which is easy to be deformed and to carry current. These features enable the capacitor to have larger capacitance values and higher ripple currents than other types of capacitors.
