BAV70T116 is a 7-pin small signal Switching Diode Array designed to provide high speed matching switch protection and switching characteristics. BAV70T116 allows minimal cross conduction and low leakage current while featuring low noise pollution, fast switching and low power consumption. Working Principle
BAV70T116 is an array of seven WNM series monolithic Schottky rectifiers optimized for low forward drop, high yield, low on-state resistance and fast switching.The WNM series is composed of a substrate and a cathode (Green Mark) connected on one side, and a gold plated anode connected on the other side.The WNM series has a lower leakage current than the previous generation and an enhanced reverse voltage clamping performance. This ensures reliable operation and a long operating life.
BAV70T116 works by allowing a current to flow only in one direction and blocking current in the opposite direction. It is designed with a galvanic insulation substrate to ensure a uniform temperature coefficient during switching and reduce power consumption. It also features a low forward voltage drop and a fast switching characteristic which make it excellent for high speed circuits.
In addition, BAV70T116 features a high reliability design with an enhanced reverse voltage clamping performance and lower leakage current compared to the previous generation. It also features a soft recovery characteristic, which minimizes switching losses due to the suppression of power ringing.
