Power management integrated circuits (PMICs) have become popular in modern electronics devices due to their convenience and efficiency. Among the various PMICs, battery chargers have been making strides in recent years in terms of their capability, performance, and power efficiency. The BQ2002TSNTR is a linear battery charger IC, developed by Texas Instruments, suitable for Li-Ion/Li-Polymer rechargeable batteries. It offers reverse-blocking protection, which prevents current through an accidentally reversed battery and provides an active low clock output to indicate the presence of an appropriate battery connection.
