Nowadays, the application of high-power circuits is increasingly prevalent. In high-power Integrated Circuits, a voltage regulator is essential. BU25SD2MG-MTR is one of the best voltage regulator in the Linear PMIC series. It converts any input voltage between 4.5V and 18V into a stable 5V voltage level.

The integrated circuit also contains additional components like temperature compensator, reverse current protection circuit, under voltage lockout circuit and so on. The temperature compensation circuit acts as an additional safety measure to avoid overheating of the circuit and the reverse current protection circuit check whether a current is flowing from the output to the input. The under voltage lockout circuit ensures that the output voltage does not rise above the specified threshold.
