Application Field

The CC2570RHAT is suitable for various wireless applications, such as low power Zigbee®, Bluetooth®, IEEE 802.15.4, as well as proprietary wireless systems. Working Principle

The CC2570RHAT operates on a direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) principle and has an integrated low-noise amplifier (LNA). The RF transceiver is controlled from the microcontroller via a serial peripheral interface (SPI). The CC2570RHAT can transmit and receive up to +20dBm of RF signal with its integrated low-noise amplifier on the receive path and +20dBm of output power on the transmit path.

The CC2570RHAT has two operating modes, namely the receive mode and the transmit mode. In the receive mode, the transceiver is able to detect signal energy from incoming signals and provides the RSSI level for each packet. In the transmit mode, the transceiver is capable of transmitting the pre-configured data at a selected output power.
