Humidity, Moisture Sensors
The CC2D33-SIP is a sensitive humidity and moisture sensor. It consists of a stainless steel sensor body with a measure of between 0 to 100%. The signal can be read through a port, giving a unified precision output signal. Not only the scope of the measuring range is wider, but the accuracy is much higher than other devices in the same field.

Working Principle
The CC2D33-SIP works on the principle of capacitance. At the head of the device there is a gold-plating capacitance electrode which is covered by a dielectric film. This film will absorb moisture from the air, so when the humidity increases, air is more humid some more moisture is absorbed through the dielectric film and the electrode takes and absorbs more charge. The capacitance value changes! As a result, the micro-processor inside the device automatically adjust the output voltage in relationship to the humidity. In a similar way, the output voltage is decreased when the humidity is decreased.
