Its working principle is based on the power transformer which is made of three sets of windings. Each winding consists of two parallel-connected reactor. The main purpose of windings in power transformer is to transform the input voltage of 8KV & 50KV into suitable voltages for further power transmission. The two reactors in each winding are used to keep the voltage within certain range and also maintain the balance of the longitudinal voltage distribution in each winding. On the other hand, the fuse protector unit helps to protect the power transformer from overloading or short circuit faults.

In addition, the CB overvoltage protector is mainly used for limiting the overvoltage in the system. There are two safety current limiters on the output side, which are used to reduce the voltage ripple in the output voltage waveform. Apart from that, the optional bypass switch is used to provide an alternative route for power transmission in order to avoid interruption caused by short circuit or other circumstances.
